Job Analysis

The purpose of a Job Analysis survey is to identify the responsibilities of professionals in wound, ostomy, continence (WOC) and foot care nursing. This is the first step in developing a job related certification examination. The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) used the services of Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP) to develop the surveys. The survey data are analyzed and test specifications are built, from which content-valid certification examinations are written.
