Job Analysis

The purpose of a Job Analysis survey is to identify the responsibilities of professionals in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) nursing. This is the first step in developing a job related certification examination. The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) used the services of Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP) to develop the survey. The survey data are analyzed and test specifications are built, from which a content-valid certification examination is written.
