About the Professional Growth Program

Welcome to the Online Submission System to recertify via the Professional Growth Program (PGP). The WOCNCB established the Professional Growth Program (PGP) as an alternative to taking an exam for recertification. PGP recognizes the activities that go beyond routine practice or that represent the pathway you took from novice to expert.

The PGP allows you to demonstrate your knowledge of wound, ostomy or continence nursing by tracking and recording evidence of your continual learning and professional growth. Recertification is awarded based on accumulating PGP points for activities related to your professional growth. To recertify via PGP you must be currently certified and must not have initially attempted and failed the certification exam.
