The Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) offers nurses an opportunity to validate their commitment to excellence within their chosen specialties. Since 1978, over 5,800 nurses have chosen to certify in wound, ostomy, continence, and foot care nursing through the WOCNCB. These dedicated nurses have played key roles in countless stories that showcase how their presence positively impacted patients and families. Individually, these stories are a tangible illustration of the value of these specialties, but when woven together they form a tapestry of the incredible power that is nursing.

We strive to maintain the very highest standards by supporting the most comprehensive form of education, a combination of both classroom and clinical experiences.
